উনানে পুড়িয়া তুমি কেন হও ছাই?
হায় হায়, সখী, তব ভাগ্য কী কঠোর!
বাবলার শাখা বলে, দুঃখ নাহি মোর।
বাঁচিয়া সফল তুমি, ওগো চূতলতা,
নিজেরে করিয়া ভস্ম মোর সফলতা।
