এখানে তো বাঁধা পথের
           অন্ত না পাই,
চলতে গেলে পথ ভুলি যে
           কেবলি তাই।
তোমার জলে, তোমার স্থলে,
তোমার সুনীল আকাশতলে,
      কোনোখানে কোনো পথের
           চিহ্নটি নাই।
পথের খবর পাখির পাখায়
           লুকিয়ে থাকে।
তারার আগুন পথের দিশা
           আপনি রাখে।
ছয় ঋতু ছয় রঙিন রথে
যায় আসে যে বিনা পথে,
      নিজেরে সেই অচিন-পথের
           খবর শুধাই।

DARKNESS is the veiled bride
silently waiting for the errant light
to return to her bosom.
