দুঃস্বপন কোথা হতে এসে জীবনে বাধায় গণ্ডগোল। কেঁদে উঠে জেগে দেখি শেষে কিছু নাই আছে মার কোল। ভেবেছিনু আর-কেহ বুঝি, ভয়ে তাই প্রাণপণে যুঝি, তব হাসি দেখে আজ বুঝি তুমিই দিয়েছ মোরে দোল। এ জীবন সদা দেয় নাড়া লয়ে তার সুখ দুখ ভয়; কিছু যেন নাই গো সে ছাড়া, সেই যেন মোর সমুদয়। এ ঘোর কাটিয়া যাবে চোখে নিমেষেই প্রভাত-আলোকে, পরিপূর্ণ তোমার সম্মুখে থেমে যাবে সকল কল্লোল।
