          বর্ষ পরে বর্ষ গেছে চ'লে
      ছন্দ গাঁথিয়াছি আমি তোমাদের মিলনমঙ্গলে।
      এবার দিনের অন্তে বিরল ভাষার আশীর্বাণী
          রবির স্নেহের স্পর্শ আনি
          পশ্চিমের ক্লান্ত রশ্মি হতে
যোগ দিল তোমাদের আনন্দিত গৃহের আলোতে।
