I.85. sadho, Brahm alakh lakhaya
WHEN HE Himself reveals. Himself, Brahma brings into manifestation That which can never be seen.
As the seed is in the plant, as the shade is in the tree, as the void is in the sky, as infinite forms are in the void
So from beyond the Infinite, the Infinite comes; and from the Infinite the finite extends.
The creature is in Brahma, and Brahma is in the creature: they are ever distinct, yet ever united.
He Himself is the tree, the seed, and the germ.
He Himself is the flower, the fruit, and the shade.
He Himself is the sun, the light, and the lighted.
He Himself is Brahma, creature, and Maya.
He Himself is the manifold form, the infinite space;
He is the breath, the word, and the meaning.
He Himself is the limit and the limitless: and beyond both the limited and the limitless is He, the Pure Being.
He is the Immanent Mind in Brahma and in the creature.
The Supreme Soul is seen within the soul,
The Point is seen within the Supreme Soul,
And within the Point, the reflection is seen again.
Kabir is blest because he has this supreme vision!

বিরক্ত আমার মন কিংশুকের এত গর্ব দেখি।
          নাহি ঘুচিবে কি
অশোকের অতিখ্যাতি, বকুলের মুখর সম্মান।
          ক্লান্ত কি হবে না কবিগান
          মালতীর মল্লিকার
          অভ্যর্থনা রচি বারম্বার?
রে মহুয়া, নামখানি গ্রাম্য তোর, লঘু ধ্বনি তার,
          উচ্চশিরে তবু রাজকুলবনিতার
          গৌরব রাখিস ঊর্ধ্বে ধরে।
              আমি তো দেখেছি তোরে
          বনস্পতিগোষ্ঠী-মাঝে অরণ্যসভায়
              অকুণ্ঠিত মর্যাদায়
                   আছিস দাঁড়ায়ে;
              শাখা যত আকাশে বাড়ায়ে
শাল তাল সপ্তপর্ণ অশ্বত্থের সাথে
          প্রথম প্রভাতে
সূর্য-অভিনন্দনের তুলেছিস গম্ভীর বন্দন।
অপ্রসন্ন আকাশের ভ্রূভঙ্গে যখন
     অরণ্য উদ্‌বিগ্ন করি তোলে,
সেই কালবৈশাখীর ক্রুদ্ধ কলরোলে
          শাখাব্যূহে ঘিরে
আশ্বাস করিস দান শঙ্কিত বিহঙ্গ অতিথিরে।
     অনাবৃষ্টিক্লিষ্ট দিনে,
          বিশীর্ণ বিপিনে,
     বন্যবুভুক্ষুর দল ফেরে রিক্ত পথে,
দুর্ভিক্ষের ভিক্ষাঞ্জলি ভরে তারা তোর সদাব্রতে।
বহুদীর্ঘ সাধনায় সুদৃঢ় উন্নত
          তপস্বীর মতো
     বিলাসের চাঞ্চল্যবিহীন,
সুগম্ভীর সেই তোরে দেখিয়াছি অন্যদিন
          অন্তরে অধীরা
ফাল্গুনের ফুলদোলে কোথা হতে জোগাস মদিরা
          পুষ্পপুটে;
বনে বনে মৌমাছিরা চঞ্চলিয়া উঠে।
     তোর সুরাপাত্র হতে বন্যনারী
সম্বল সংগ্রহ করে পূর্ণিমার নৃত্যমত্ততারই।
          রে অটল, রে কঠিন,
     কেমনে গোপনে রাত্রিদিন
তরল যৌবনবহ্নি মজ্জায় রাখিয়াছিলি ভরে।
          কানে কানে কহি তোরে--
বধূরে যেদিন পাব, ডাকিব "মহুয়া' নাম ধরে।

ALL THAT I had I gave to you, keeping but the barest veil of reserve.
        It is so thin that you secretly smile at it and I feel ashamed.
        The gust of the spring breeze sweeps it away unawares, and the flutter of my own heart moves it as the waves move their foam.
        My love, do not grieve if I keep this flimsy mist of distance round me.
        This frail reserve of mine is no mere woman's coyness, but a slender stem on which the flower of my self-surrender bends towards you with reticent grace.
