BEFORE THE end of my journey
may I reach within myself
the one which is the all,
leaving the outer shell
to float away with the drifting multitude
upon the current of chance and change.

সীমাশূন্য মহাকাশে
       দৃপ্তবেগে চন্দ্র সূর্য তারা
যে প্রদীপ্ত শক্তি নিয়ে
       যুগে যুগে চলে তন্দ্রাহারা,
মানবের ইতিবৃত্তে
       সেই দীপ্তি লয়ে, নরোত্তম,
তোমরা চলেছ নিত্য
       মৃত্যুরে করিয়া অতিক্রম।
