     দূর শূন্যে ওড়ে পাখা মেলে।
অদৃশ্য দেশের হাওয়া
     কেন জানি তোমারে ভুলায়,
অকূল সমুদ্রপারে
     স্বপ্ন দিয়ে বাঁধিছ কুলায়।

শিশিরের মালা গাঁথা শরতের তৃণাগ্র-সূচিতে
নিমিষে মিলায়,--তবু নিখিলের মাধুর্য-রুচিতে
স্থান তার চিরস্থির; মণিমালা রাজেন্দ্রের গলে
আছে,তবু নাই সে যে, নিত্য নষ্ট প্রতি পলে পলে॥
